Mechanical Zero Air Loss Condensate Drains

Fully automatic. No timer to set. No electricity needed. As the condensate level builds the drain will automatically open and expel the water without losing valuable compressed air. Ideal for use on-air receiver tanks, intercoolers, aftercoolers, dryers, separators, filters, and drip legs.

Automatic drain valves remove mixtures of water and compressor lubricants from compressed air systems. An automatic drain valve eliminates the need for a maintenance worker to patrol the plant, manually dumping liquid from the air system. An Automatic drain is a 2/2 valve that closes when the system is pressurized.

Picking the right drain valve can be tricky.  You need to consider initial cost, product reliability, operating cost, and any constraints that are unique to the application.

Auto drains remove condensed liquid – usually a mixture of water and compressor lubricant from compressed air systems.

Dew Point Meters determine the temperature at which condensation begins to form at a given barometric pressure, correlating to the amount of water vapor present in a gas. Conventionally, the Dew point meter captures air/gas in its sample chamber and then cooled down the temperature till it starts condensation.
